Today I was a photo-witness at the Cetatea Braşovului Duathlon. All the photos where taken on a descent section, just after Poiana Stechil – therefore only the participants to the pro race are featuring.

The mountainbiking part of the duathlon is really tough, some say it is the most difficult racing trail in Romania. It is quite short (12,5 km) but it is steep (more than 700m total altitude gain). The weather was very dry in the last weeks in Braşov, so the trails where hard and dusty – so racers went really fast. Enjoy the photos.
