Helmut works for a car components manufacturer, and in his free time he collects, restores and then drives old cars. He came to Brasov for a short holiday, driving all the way from Germany to Romania. There is no better way to put it than saying he is a motorhead, eager to see what the electric revolution will bring to the table.
But not with his mountain biking. Here he likes things done the old way, earning the thrills of the descents with the hard work of pedaling up. And there is no better place to do just that than the natural mountain trails close to the historical city of Brasov, or Kronstadt as it was known a few centuries ago.
In our three-days program we biked on carefully selected trails in Postăvaru mountain, in the Bucegi Natural Park, in the magical area around the infamous Bran Castle, finishing in the Saxon Villages area near Viscri, where trail riding mountain biking meets historical visits in the UNESCO Fortified Church complex.
Enjoy the photos, and do get in touch with us if you are interested in some guided mountain biking rides in Romania, be it for a short tour or a week-long program, for an all-inclusive package or for a guiding-only type of service. Happy to assist.
