Mountain bikers from Germany, Italy and The Netherlands joined our Transylvanian Alps Open tour, August 2023. An eclectic group of people that shared the love for riding their bikes up on the mountain trails while exploring new places, new cultures, and their own comfort zones.

Our menu is tried and tested: mountain trails up and down the mountain. Steep climbs, including the odd hike-a-bike and carry bike sections. Trail riding galore, with a few tech parts to spice up the ensemble. Ciucaș, Grohotișului, Neamțului, Baiului, Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains offered the perfect playground for a week of mountain biking like no other.

There were lots of laughs during the tour, an abundance of great views, good food and cold beers. And, as always, a great company. We’ve been spoiled along the years having wonderful people as guests, and 2023 was no different. 2024, bring it on!

Hard to enclose in a single message all the positive emotions that we felt during this fantastic and unforgettable journey. The ingredients are many :stony trails, enchanted forest, variety of climbs from the sweet and enjoyable to the leg breaker, adrenaline descents that will invite you to overcome your technical limits, views that will laterally leave you breathless, uncontaminated nature and of course good food, cold beer, laugh, friendship, sense of community and many other things.. Everything perfectly and expertly guided by Horia, that, thanks to his patience, experience, knowledge, passion and love for his job, he accompanied us with the sensation to ride with an old friend…
So, for who wants to have more than an holiday but a deep experience of the real mtb riding in a marvelous, great and hospitable land, don’t miss that trip.
