We started to ride with Tom in September 2020. He brought then with him a newly bought capable XC hardtail and a basic set of skills, the kind most of us get while simply riding a bike while playing as kids, and later on commuting in the urban jungle. But, most importantly, the will to push the limits on the uphills, and plenty of interest in tackling trickier descents. A few walk-the-trails sessions in Păltiniș, but also Piatra Craiului, Bucegi and Poiana Brașov made him realise heavier tools are required…
It was quite some time since we've run our Skills for Thrills mountain biking camps, but this unusual times provided unexpected opportunities. An covid-imposed four weeks vacation meant that plenty of parents were facing a long stretch of not knowing what to do with their kids at home. Getting them on their bikes, learning proper basic skills, enjoying fresh mountain air and great home-made food - sounded like a sound option. And that's exactly what they got during our five days camp in the village of Șimon. A limited number…
We are in our second year of organising mountain biking technical training events, with a special Skills for Thrills weekend for families and kids. Joyful participants, eager to learn about mountain biking. Only a handful of photos (the photographer was busy being an instructor), but plenty of nice memories. [nggallery id=115]

The learning experience is also very good, as your technique is really put to the test. You have to be so much careful when rolling…

In late late spring 2016 we organised our first mtb technical training weekends and the outcome was more than promising. Mihai Constantenec brought his specific knowledge gained in mtb technical training programs he followed in Austria, I added to the big pot of mountain biking wisdom my own experiences and practical examples and the photo camera. As the following galleries testifies. The first weekend was for families, parents and kids performing exercises in a playground Mihai set up with his cones and his other nicely coloured plastic toys. There was also…
You live, you learn, they say. Every tour we organize is a learning experience. We meet new people coming from different parts of the world, we share stories, we discuss the ways of the word. Sometimes we learn new mountain biking skills from our guests, it’s always a privilege to ride with guys who are ridiculously good. We also find great pleasure in sharing our mountain biking knowledge with less experienced bikers. During the years, along the thousands of kilometres spent on trails we gathered a decent amount of specific…
