Postăvaru Mountain near Braşov offers plenty of opportunities for the singe-trail enthuziast. The tracks around Poiana Braşov ski rsort, the trails down to Tâmpa and all the way to the medieval city centre of Braşov – options available for all tastes, skills or physical level. From 20 to 70km, 1000 to 3000m dislevel. Start and finish in the centre of the City.

A one day round tour starting from Buşteni, on Prahova Valley. Cable car up to Babele (2200m altitude), down back to Buşteni (900m altitude) on bike, with optios to go up to Omu Peak or down to Peştera, before the final downhill of the day.

A 30-45km round tour of Ciucaş mountain, starting and ending in Cheia. Ciucaş is a less popular area than Bucegi, but the views are incredible and the trails wonderful. +/-1500-2000m dislevel.

A transfer zone inbetween Ciucaş and Baiului/Bucegi mountains, Grohotişului are one of the most neglected mountains that are relatively close to Bucharest and Braşov. Milder slopes and crests, decent heights (1600-1700m), nice pasture trails and cart roads. Great panoramic views over Ciucaş, towards Baiului and Bucegi. Our round tour stars up in Bratocea pass (10km from Cheia or 30 from Braşov), goes all the way to Doftana Valley and then back to Bratocea. Around 50km in distance, +/- 2000m dislevel.

Piatra Craiului National Park offers the widest variety of landscape, from the chilly gorges of Zărneşti to the sunny meadows overlooking the east side of the main crest. The trails here are technical, the views spectacular. Our one-day round tours start and end either at Gura Râului hut or in the village of Bran (with passages through idyllic mountain villages like Măgura and Peştera). Distances from 25 to 50km, dislevel from 1200 to 2500m.
