Here is a list of two-days mountian biking trips, cross-country and all-mountain style, mostly on single trails or single tracks. The prices below include accommodation, if you prefer arranging your own accommodation contact us to give you an updated cost. Please do that if you have any other special requirements for your mountain biking weekend.
We start in Sinaia, cable car up to Cota 2000, then uphill to Omu Peak (2540m) passing by Piatra Arsă, Babele, Cerdac. From Omu we continue to Padina (1500m) on different routes, depending on your skills and physical level. After spending the night at Padina (six bed dormitories, hot shower, warm meal and breakfast) we climb up to Strunga Pass (1900m) and then climb all the way down to the village of Bran (700m). Back to Braşov by local bus.

The trails in Postăvaru Mountain, near the city of Braşov, offer enough choices for two days of cross-country and all-mountain intense riding. The uphill to Poiana Braşov makes for a good warm-up before some thrilling single trail sections down to the city, be it over Tâmpa mountain or through Poiana Junilor or Pietrele lui Solomon. Accommodation in a three stars hotel close to the old city center of Braşov – a perfect place for a nice hang out in the evening.

Starting from the village of Bran, the first we ride some nice trails on the West foothills of Bucegi, overlooking the village of Şimon. The second day we go to the Piatra Craiului National Park, visiting on our way the scenic mountain villages of Peştera and Măgura, the impressive rocky gorges of Zărneşti, some idyllic meadows near Vlăduşca and La Table. Accommodation in the village of Poarta, near Bran, at one of our favorite venues – a local pension with traditional, organic meals and relaxed atmosphere.

Two days out in the wild, in the less popular Ciucaş Mountains (first day) and in Grohotişului Mountain (second day). Accommodation in Cheia.
